U15 League Football Opener

Ballincollig 5-23 Sam Maguires 1-07
Last Thursday night our U15 footballers started their league campaign with an emphatic win over Sam Maguires. From the first whistle there was no doubt as to the outcome as Ballincollig dominated all over the pitch. Evan Cooke at centre forward showed why he is an inter county player and put in a man of the match performance. Louis Heffernan at corner forward is improving every game and put in a fine display. Matt Bourke at wing back did not put a foot wrong as did Sean Ryan.
Overall this was a fine team performance, but we won't be running away with ourselves, with away games against O'Donovan Rossa and Castlehaven over the next few weeks will provide sterner tests.
