History 1940 to 1969
1940
County Junior Football Title. and All Ireland Junior Hurling Medals for Dan Lynch , Connie Radley and Mick O'Conor.
1941
Senior Status in both Hurling and Football. As there was no Intermediate Grade at this time the Junior Football champions were promoted to Senior .Intermediate Hurlers decided to step up to Senior Grade. They made the County Senior Final only to be beaten by the famous 8 in a row Glen Rovers team. Dan Mc Carthy earns and All Ireland Senior Hurling Medal and Willie Long Puck wins his first one.
1942
Senior Hurlers again reached the County Final only to be beaten by Barrs. This year however they had done all the hard work done when Ballincollig beat the legendary Glen Team who had been undefeated in Championship for 8 years. Senior Footballers won their first Senior Football championship game by defeating divisional side Muskerry.
1943
Senior Hurlers lost their third County Final in a row when they were again beaten by Barrs but this time after a replay.
1944
Senior Footballers regraded to Junior and went on to win the Mid Cork Junior Football Title. The Club built a new Modern Hall on the site which was become Moremiles Tyres across the road from Rosewood Estate
1946
Willie Long Puck Murphy wins his 5th Senior All Hurling Ireland Medal and Paddy Healy wins his second Medal
1947
Minor Hurlers won the Mid Cork Minor Hurling Title
1948
Senior Hurlers regraded Intermediate and the club reverted back to Red,White and Black Colours
1949
U16 hurlers won the Mid Cork Hurling title
1950
Juvenile Teams win Mid Cork Double Titles. Paddy Healy and Willie Kavanagh Win Junior All Ireland Medals.
1951
Intermediate Hurlers stepped up to Senior , but were beaten in 1st Round. Minor Hurlers won Mid Cork Minor Hurling title and Florrie O'Mahoney wins a Minor All Ireland
1953
Intermediate Hurlers reverted to Junior. Minor Hurlers won Mid Cork Minor Hurling Title
1954
This year marked the lowest ebb for the club. Strangled by debt with the new Hall and a fall off in playing numbers this became the only time in the Clubs History that Ballincollig failed to field an Adult team.
1955
Club colours once more back to Green and White. A revival in interest saw 14 players transfer back to the club. Juvenile Hurlers won Mid Cork Title. The Parish Leagues were organised with 4 teams. West Village, Carrigrohane, The Village, and the new houses ( Leo Murphy and Fr Sexton Parks)1956
Minor Hurlers won the Mid Cork Title as did the U16 Hurlers
1957
Minor Hurlers won the Mid Cork Title as did the U16 Hurlers
1958
Minor Club won the Mid Cork Double and the U6 also did the double
1959
County Junior Hurling Title. Junior B Football won Mid Cork Title. Minor Hurlers won Mid Cork Title. U21 Football won Mid Cork Title Club and held its First Dinner Dance
1961
Des Nangle wins an all Ireland Minor Medal.
1964
Intermediate Hurlers lost 1st Round Game. Junior Footballers won Mid Cork as did the Junior B Hurlers
1965
U21 Hurlers won Mid Cork. Junior Footballers won Mid Cork. Sean Barry Murphy, Aubert Twomey and Billy Fitton win All Ireland Intermediate Hurling Medals.
1966
County Intermediate Hurling Title and Mid Cork Junior football title. Billy Murphy wins his first of two U21 Medals.
1967
Senior Hurling Status achieved. However they regraded in 1969
