Ballincollig GAA U16 Victory Social

A large attendance gathered at the Oriel House Hotel on Saturday night last to celebrate 10 years of phenomenal success by the U16 team 2014.
This outstanding team won 18 of 23 Finals contested in Hurling and Football and included 5 Premier 1 County Football titles in a row during the past 6 years. Tributes to the team, parents and mentors were led by Rebel Og Chairman John Purcell, Central Chairman Brian Long and Juvenile Chairman Brendan Murphy. A special word was reserved for outstanding manager Brendan Hogan.
The team were presented with their U16 Premier 1 County league and Championship medals by Cork Minor Football coach Tom Dorgan. In his address Tom recalled some close victories and defeats and urged the team to drive on into the future. M.C. for the night was lifetime supporter and Senior Chairman Ger Oâ Donovan.
