JACK - GAA Superstar , Taoiseach and Corkman...
February 16, 2017
To celebrate the centenary of the birth of JACK Lynch, JACK a new play by playwright Declan Hassett will take place in Ballymaloe Grainstore from March 2-4 and in the Everyman in Cork from March 8th to the 18th.
GAA superstar, winner of six All Ireland medals and former Taoiseach, Corkman Jack Lynch was born in 1917. He became not only a sporting folk hero and legend but also one of the most popular politicians ever to be elected on this island.
I have outlined information on JACK. It would be great if you could send it to the County Board and to the various GAA Clubs in Cork.
We are also running a special Facebook Page called www.facebook.com/jacktheplay
If you would like me to send posters about JACK to any clubs or individuals do let me know.
Many thanks, Eimear
