U14 Footballers take on Carbery Rangers

Ballincollig 6-9 Carbery Rangers 4-6
Last Friday evening saw us open our 2016 league campaign against Carbery Rangers under lights on pitch 2. In what was a very entertaining game of football we eventually ran out winners on a scoreline of 6-9 to 4-6.
The final score probably flatters us to a degree as we were only up by a solitary point at half time and had to dig deep to come from 4 points down in the second half to eventually win the game. This is not to take away from the tremendous work ethic of our boys on the night as they never let their heads drop and to come back from the jaws of defeat as they did bodes well for the future. The whole panel played their part and a sincere thanks to all the lads for all their efforts not only for this game but in their attitude at training so far in general.
