💚🤍 COUNTY FINAL WEEK IS HERE... LET'S MAKE IT A WEEK TO REMEMBER! 💚🤍
There is something special in the air around Ballincollig this week.
A sense of excitement. A sense of anticipation. A sense that our club is building towards something big.
This weekend, two Ballincollig Adult teams will take to the field with county titles on the line, proudly representing every player, coach, volunteer, supporter and family who make our club what it is.
And now it's time for the entire Ballincollig community to get behind them.
Saturday, 3pm | MTU --LGFA County Final Ballincollig v Ballinhassig
Our LGFA team has been on a tremendous journey this season. Through hard work, commitment and incredible togetherness, they have earned their place in a well-deserved County Final against Ballinhassig.
This group has shown huge character throughout the year. Training nights, sacrifices, and big performances have all been part of the journey. They have represented Ballincollig with pride and determination every step of the way and now stand just sixty minutes from county glory.
The excitement is building and this team deserves a huge Ballincollig support behind them as they chase their dream on Saturday afternoon.
Sunday, 2pm | Páirc Uí Chaoimh
Premier Intermediate Hurling County Final Ballincollig v Dungourney
The excitement barely has time to settle before our Premier Intermediate Hurlers take centre stage in Páirc Uí Chaoimh against Dungourney.
For many in this group, the memory of last year's County Final defeat still hurts. Coming so close and falling just short left a mark, but rather than letting it define them, they have used it as motivation.
They have worked relentlessly all year with one goal in mind: getting back to the County Final and earning another opportunity.
That opportunity has now arrived.
This group has shown enormous resilience, determination and belief throughout the season. They have battled their way back to Cork's biggest stage and now have the chance to turn last year's heartbreak into this year's triumph.
The players and management have left no stone unturned in their preparations. They have earned the right to walk back out onto the Páirc Uí Chaoimh turf and compete for county honours once again.
Now let's make sure they are backed by a sea of green and white.
💚🤍 ONE CLUB. ONE COMMUNITY. ONE MASSIVE WEEKEND. 💚🤍
This is what Ballincollig GAA is all about.
Over the coming days, let's build the buzz right across the parish. Wear your colours with pride. Fly your flags. Share the fixtures. Talk about the games. Encourage friends, neighbours and family to be there.
Most importantly, let's turn out in numbers and show our teams the strength of the Ballincollig spirit.
Let's fill MTU on Saturday.
Let's fill Páirc Uí Chaoimh on Sunday.
Let's bring colour, passion and energy wherever we go.
When our players look into the stands, let's make sure they see a wall of green and white behind them.
💚🤍 TWO COUNTY FINALS. TWO DAYS. ONE CLUB. 💚🤍
This is our week.
This is our club.
This is our chance to stand together and show what Ballincollig means.
Bring the flags. Bring the family. Bring the neighbours.
