It goes without saying that Saturday's game is a huge game in the football history of Ballincollig GAA.
A bit like when you think back to the big football events over the last 40+ years including the junior football championship win in 1981, the intermediate football championship win in 1994.  These were championship winning campaigns which promoted us from junior level to intermediate level and then to senior.
Since coming up senior in 1995, we have competed well with the best in Cork football. Losing a semi-final in 1999, winning the county in 2014, runners-up in 2016 and achieving other semi final appearances also.  
This game will decide if we are playing Premier senior football or Senior A football championship next year.
The squad has been unlucky this year with injuries and is struggling for a bit of form. 
But the old saying that form is temporary and class is permanent we hope is true tomorrow, because we have a lot of class footballers on view.
Tomorrow we need to get behind the lads and shout them on to victory to also ensure the young players who are coming up through the ranks have that added inspiration to push on and play the top football grade for their club.
