Dear Members,

Please be advised that parking on the newly installed footpath in the avenue is strictly not permitted as was flagged last weekend.

A significant amount of time and effort went into securing city council approval for this footpath. We are so grateful to everyone who helped make this happen. Thank you.  It was put in place to improve safety and access for all users, young and old. 

We appreciate this areas is used by many people, not just club members/guardians but we do wish to flag that this footpath is not an extension of the car park. Parking on it not only undermines that effort but also creates avoidable hazards - eg ambulance access to nursing home/pitches. In coming weeks there will be double yellow lines placed at both sides of this avenue too.

We are asking all members and guardians to respect the facility and ensure vehicles are parked in designated areas only.
