Ballincollig Ladies Gaelic Football Club are celebrating a very special milestone this year -  our 25th Anniversary.

Our club was founded on Valentine’s Night, 14th February 2001, with the formation of our first Adult team. From that evening, Ballincollig LGFC has grown into a vibrant, inclusive club with over 600 members, continuing to grow year on year.

We are proud to be a community club at the heart of the village, catering for players from Under 5s through to Adult level, including our much-loved Gaelic 4 Mothers & Others squad.

Our ethos -  Fun, Fitness, Friendship & Football - along with “Spórt, Spraoi, Peil i mo Chroí,” has guided us for the past 25 years. While football brings us together, our club is equally focused on supporting our members beyond the pitch through wellness initiatives, education talks, team bonding, and strong community connections.

To mark this incredible journey, we will celebrate 25 years of Ballincollig LGFC with a 25th Anniversary Gala Night on Valentine’s Night, 14th February 2026,
at the Rochestown Park Hotel.

This promises to be a memorable evening, celebrating our past, present and future - bringing together players, families, volunteers, supporters and friends who have all played a part in our story.
