Every week in Ireland, sudden cardiac death claims young lives that could have been saved through early screening. The Dillon Quirke Foundation is dedicated to preventing these tragedies by offering accessible cardiac screening to clubs across the country. See https://www.dillonquirkefoundation.com/ for more details.

Expression of Interest Form
Completion of this form does not guarantee you a screening.
Health insurance:
Some private health insurance policies include benefits towards cardiac screening for young people. For example Laya and Level Health. Families who have this cover are strongly encouraged to use it and claim the cost of screening through their health insurer. We would ask that these members avail of this service rather than taking one of the club screening places.
If you have a pre- existing cardiac condition and / or are under medical care for this then this screening is not suitable.
Parents who have registered their interest will be provided with an automated online booking link once it is received from Advanced Medical Services.
Bookings will be first come, first served, and parents are encouraged to book promptly once the link goes live.
Please note we will only have 45 slots available for screening, so we may not have enough slots for everyone. However the club is seeking to run additional days screening dependent on interest.
Please register your interest by completing the form above by 1pm Friday 23rd.
This is an excellent opportunity to support the health and wellbeing of our young players, and we encourage all eligible families to consider availing of the screening.
