Ballincollig are back in the last four for the first time in three years and they will have nothing to lose against one of the named Big 3 in Cork football - St. Finbarrs.
Ballincollig will go into the game with lots of confidence after showing good heart and resolve to overcome Duhallow in the quarter-final.
They were excellent for three quarters of the first game of the championship vs Nemo. A poor performance against St.Michaels when a Peter O'Neill 2 pointer rescued a point at the death in the 2nd game.  They got the job done versus Douglas in very windy conditions in the last group game.
Last years quarter final against the Barrs ended in a 5 point defeat but we were well in that game for 52 mins until a late Barrs surge caught us.
This is a great chance for this panel of players and management to make a fist county final since 2016 and establish a new group in Cork football of the big 4!!
We wish them the very best of luck.
Please come out and support your team on Sunday.
