Long Service Honoured.

Retiring Muskerry GAA stalwarts Paddy O’Mahony and Aubert Twomey were recently honoured for their long service to the GAA at a function at Oriel House, Ballincollig. Between them they have given 74 years of service, as Paddy served as Registrar for 18 years and as Secretary for 35 while Aubert gave 21 years as PRO.

( Above is an Extract From County Board Newsleter Issue 6 )

On top of his long service to Muskerry GAA , a whole book could be written about the heroics that Aubert has performed with our own Club . He is a "memory man" on par with Jimmy Magee, and has nurtured the GAA in Ballincollig going back to the 60's. Congratulations Aubert
