Ladies Football Underage News for September 4th

Under 11 Ladies:            

Ballincollig 5-3 Ballyphehane 1-6

Our U11 team finished off their Summer League campaign in style with an impressive win over Ballyphehane on Thursday, 30th August. These girl's understanding of the game, has improved greatly over the last few weeks, and this was evident on the night with great passing, team-work and pace on the ball.

Under 8's and Under 10's

On a bright and warm Sunday afternoon, 2nd September, we played host to Eire Og, as our U8's and U10's played a challenge match with our near neighbours.  A a great afternoon of football was enjoyed by all, as the girls put on a great display of the skills they have learned. Our u8's have improved greatly, with great catching, kicking and passing of the ball and the back's played a great game with good marking and superb blocking.
Our U10's put on a great display of their skills, with huge improvement running on the ball, passing and blocking. Our backs worked really hard, marking up and clearing the ball up the field and the game was very equally balanced with each and every girl working hard putting their skills into practice. Well done to all the girls who played on the day.

After all the hard work in the heat, it was time to cool down with some ice lollies and relax in the rare sunshine!  Many thanks to all the parents and friends who helped out on the day.
