Under 14's Match Report:

Ballincollig 4-7 Naomh Aban 2-2

Ballincollig Under 14 Ladies had a fantastic start to their 2012 campaign. Tuesday, 3rd April saw them playing thier first game against Naomh Aban of Baile Bhuirne on home ground.  The girls showed great determination and succeeded in getting 3 splendid goals in the first 20 minutes of the game.  Ballincollig settled into the game and played a confident and fast game of football.  Both sides had good opportunities for scoring and the defending on the day was very strong.  Ballincollig continued with some fine point scoring and another goal in the second half.

The Under 14 Ladies then went on to play Passage West over the Easter holidays at home, on the 10th April.  Passage West proved to be strong competitors and added up their points from early on in the game.  The Ballincollig girls defended very well, bu our point scoring wasn't with us on the day.  Even though Ballincollig were missing a few of our veteran ladies, they played with great determination, never giving up and we look forward to our upcoming fixtures, when our full panel will be back in action.
