Club News

The club are looking forward to our U21 footballers playing in the County Final which is scheduled to be played on December 15th. The competition is only at the quarterfinals stage in the other half of the draw so we are waiting to see who our opponents will be. The 2020 club championship draw took place on Tuesday night, next years County Championship will be played in a new format, all details of the draw and the new seeding system are on the Cork GAA website. In the draws our Senior Footballers were drawn in the same group as St. Finbarrs, Clonakilty and Carrigaline, while our Intermediate Hurlers were drawn against Valley Rovers, Watergrasshill and Ballinhassig. Members are reminded that the Club Registration for 2020 can now be paid online, early payment is hugely beneficial to the club and it now only takes a few minutes online. The club lotto has a whopping jackpot of €18,800 tickets as always are available from usual sources. Live music continues in the club bar every Sunday at 6pm, see ye all there. UpTheVillage
