Mid-Term Hurling Camp

There were 83 kids in total at the Mid-Term Hurling Camp in the Club over Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday this week. A Big Thank You to Robert Downey (Glen Rovers), Brian Turnbull (Douglas) and Ger Collins (Ballinhassig), for their coaching and for passing on vital information to improve the kids. All 3 have been recently called into the Cork Senior Hurling squad. We wish them every success.
Also to our own local coaches David O’Sullivan, Tadhg O’Connell and James Dwyer, 3 great lads that every kid at the Camp can look up to. A huge thanks to Cork Senior Captain Séamus Harnedy who travelled to the Camp today and gave an inspiring speech to the lads. A true role model.
Most importantly, well done to a super bunch of players from our U10s, U11s, U12s and U13s. The standard of hurling is just exceptional. Thank you also to all our great parents. We would be nothing without ye.
