Congratulations to Cian Kiely and Cian Dorgan on winning the McGrath Cup with Cork Senior  footballers at the weekend. A first Cork senior title for both of them and hopefully more will follow. As of yet no matches are scheduled but training has started for a few teams already. The U-21's footballers now under the new management team of Senior players Niall Allen and Noel Galvin are training in preparation for the championship which will be starting in February. Best of luck lads. The intermediate hurlers and senior footballers are still awaiting fixtures for the 2018 leagues. The Cork county board are working to set up leagues so that players can be sure of scheduled matches and this hopefully will help players to play more competitive matches . The Senior footballers are expected to start playing their league matches on the first weekend in February for three weeks, followed by the Intermediate hurling leagues the next three weekends after that. Fixtures and results for club matches can be found on our club Facebook and Twitter pages, please follow these sites to keep up to date on all club activities. Club membership for 2018 is now due and can be paid to Louise Wills, the new Senior section Registrar.

Lastly, Ballincollig GAA club would like to congratulate Simon Meehan and everyone in Colaiste Choilm on winning the BT Young Scientist Exhibition, well done on what is an outstanding achievement for the school, enjoy the celebrations.
